
Geoff Argue (MSW RSW Bed) received his Masters of Social Work degree from the University of British Columbia as well as his Bachelors of Education degree. Since 2009 he has been working in the mental health and addictions field as well as the public and private school systems. As both a fully licensed Social Worker and Teacher, Geoff has spent the majority of his practice working with youth and young adults and helping them overcome a variety of issues related to their mental health. He has worked in both inpatient and community mental health settings and has a deep knowledge of the inner workings of public and private mental health systems as well as current evidence based therapeutic practices.

Geoff holds a special interest in working with young men age 10-30 who struggle with depression, anger and/or addiction issues. As a male clinician he is aware of the particular struggles faced by young men in our society today and has tailored specific areas of his practice towards supporting struggling men. Geoff also has extensive experience working with concurrent disorders as well as families where a particular member is struggling with problematic substance use.

$150 for a 50 minute session with individuals.
$165 for a 50 minute session with couples or families.
Payment in the form of cash, cheques, or email transfer is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that 2 days notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee.
Some third party payment plans such as Extended Health Care Insurance and Employee/Family Assistance Programs pay partial or total coverage for counselling services. Please follow up with your benefits plan/health care provider.
