  Dr. Muffy Greenaway MD, FRPC(C) is the Founder and Director of three story clinic  and is a Psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience assessing and treating conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Psychosis, and Complex Pain.  She is the past Medical Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at BC Children's Hospital and the  past Undergraduate Medical Director of Child Psychiatry (UBC).  Dr. Greenaway holds an appointment as a Clinical Instructor at UBC in the Department of Medicine while maintaining an active presence at BC Children's Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Greenaway also sits on the board of the Adam's Apples Foundation.

Dr. Nomi (Nauman) Ahmad, MD FRCP(C) was originally was born and raised in Ontario but went to the United States to attend the University of Michigan and attended medical school at Michigan State University. He did his internship psychiatry and child psychiatry training throughout the United States and subsequently practiced there for several years. He has been living and practicing now in the lower mainland for a few years.

His areas of interest include Psychopharmacology, Sleep issues and Anxiety Disorders. He also enjoys in engaging in psycho-education with families and providers and has had extensive experience around ADHD and mood issues



Dr. Matthew Chow, MD, FRCP(C) has been leading healthcare innovations since the beginning of his career in psychiatry. Dr. Chow founded the telepsychiatry outreach service at BC Children's Hospital, led the youth psychiatry clinic at the Mood Disorders Association of BC and now co-leads a project that will see Vancouver become one of the first places in the world where first-responders will be able to connect with mental health professionals using live two-way video during interactions with people experiencing a mental health crisis in the community. Dr Chow has worked in diverse settings including emergency departments, hospital inpatient units, drug detox centres, and outpatient clinics. Dr. Chow is pleased to be bringing his unique approach to young people who have mental health difficulties getting in the way of enjoying life and experiencing peak performance.

Dr. Teresa Kope, MD, FRPC(C) is a child psychiatrist with over 30 years clinical experience in both hospital and community settings. For the past few years, she has based her private practice in the heritage community of Ladner, BC, and is excited to begin practice in Vancouver at the Three Story Clinic. Dr. Kope specializes in the treatment of children age 5-12 who may be experiencing anxiety, mood disorders or difficulty with adjustment. A particular area of interest is social anxiety.

She has received long term service awards from Vancouver Coastal Health and University of BC, where she is a Clinical Assistant professor in the Faculty of Medicine. She has  also engaged in education and advocacy regarding social and environmental issues. With other members of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1985.

Dr. Smita N. Naidoo, MD, MPH, FRCP(C) is a Child & Adolescent
Psychiatrist who completed her residency and fellowship training at
the University of British Columbia. Dr. Naidoo has a special interest
in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Transitional Aged Youth (15-25 year
old). With a background in Public Health at the University of
Pittsburgh, her passion lies in psychoeducation & dissemination of
evidence-based materials. Her current project includes writing a
series of children's books on mental health issues. Her first
collaborative effort will be published in 2017 & addresses the
importance of sleep in children.


Dr. Jennifer Russel, MD FRCPC(C) MSW, is a psychiatrist with clinical experience working with youth and young adults with conditions such as anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, self harm, affect dysregulation, eating disorders and complex PTSD. She has been trained in a variety of therapies including psychodynamic, family systems, cognitive behaviour therapy, narrative therapy and solution focused treatments. She is currently the Medical Director of the Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at BC Children's Hospital and the co-chair of the Trauma Informed Steering Committee. Dr. Russel holds an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Julia Wong, MD, FRPC(C) is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with a broad range of experience treating multiple different conditions and disorders. She has a special interest in elite athletes struggling with anxiety or mood disorders that pose significant barriers to optimal performance.
