David Denis (he/him)



David is a Registered Psychotherapist who has helped many clients improve their mood, anxiety, trauma and stress. He believes that treating the whole mind and body is the most effective approach to wellness and happiness.  In addition to his certification as a therapist, David has a degree in naturopathic medicine, and applies evidence-based principles of nutrition, sleep and whole-body health to the care of his clients.  David was a founding member of the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto and has taught and supervised clinicians in various institutes throughout his career.


David is a calm and highly experienced Registered Psychotherapist who, in addition to offering psychotherapy, is also an experienced Performance Coach offering mental training for athletes, artists, entrepreneurs and e-sport athletes.

David takes a client-centered approach to his work.  He understands that successful psychotherapy relies in trust and comfort between himself and his client.  He strives to cultivate trust and comfort so that the uncomfortable work of change can happen.  Having been trained in a wide variety of modalities, David takes a multifaceted approach tailored to the individual needs of each client he is working with.


$160.00 per 50 minute session for individuals

$ 200.00 per 50 minute session for Caregivers/family

Payment in the form of cash, cheques, or email transfer is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that 2 business days notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee. Some third party payment plans such as Extended Health Care Insurance and Employee/Family. Assistance Programs pay partial or total coverage for counselling services. Please follow up with your benefits plan/health care provider for coverage for registered Psychotherapist.
