EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Geoff holds a Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree and a Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) degree. With more than a decade of experience, he has worked extensively in the mental health and addictions field, and in public and private school systems. Geoff is a licensed Social Worker and Teacher, dedicated to supporting youth and young adults in overcoming diverse mental health challenges. He has gained valuable insights from working in inpatient and community mental health settings, acquiring a profound understanding of best practice intervention and a knowledge of inner workings of both public and private mental health systems.
FOCUS
Throughout his practice, Geoff has focused primarily on working with youth and young men aged 10-30. He specializes in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, and addiction issues, recognizing and addressing the specific challenges faced by young men in today’s society. Geoff’s practice is tailored to provide targeted support for his clients, taking into account their unique circumstances and needs.
Furthermore, Geoff has extensive experience working with concurrent disorders, which involve co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. He is well-versed in assisting families where a specific member is grappling with problematic substance use, offering guidance and therapeutic interventions to promote healing and recovery.

Fees
$150 per 50 minute session for individuals
$200 per 50 minute session for family
Payment in the form of email transfer is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that 2 business days notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee. Some third party payment plans such as Extended Health Care Insurance and Employee/Family Assistance Programs pay partial or total coverage for counselling services. Please follow up with your benefits plan/health care provider.
