Kelly Rutishauser is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with over a decade of experience in various mental health settings. Her counseling approach is strength-based and trauma-informed. By incorporating attachment theory into her practice, Kelly recognizes the importance of understanding how early relationships and experiences shape individuals emotional well-being. She values the therapeutic relationship and believes in the power of creating a secure and trusting connection with her clients where they can explore their challenges and work towards personal growth.

FOCUS

Throughout her career, Kelly has focused on providing therapy to female-presenting individuals, aged 12-25, who are facing a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, mental health disorders, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. She recognizes the importance of addressing the unique experiences and needs of each individual. By tailoring the treatment to each individual’s specific needs, she empowers them to make positive changes in their lives.

Kelly values the role of caregiver in the therapeutic process. She provides significant support to parents of struggling youth through psycho-education, and coaching.

She is committed to ensuring her clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to make positive change using subtle but effective strategies and techniques.

Fees

$160 per 50 minute session for individuals

$160 per 50 min session for family

$80 per 30 min phone consult

Payment in the form of cash, checks, or email transfer is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that 2 business days notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee. Some third party payment plans such as Extended Health Care Insurance and Employee/Family Assistance Programs pay partial or total coverage for counselling services. Please follow up with your benefits plan/health care provider.
