EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Nick Schoinoplokakis is currently a Master of counselling psychology student at City University. He is dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate periods of transition and any of life’s challenges. Nick provides a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space to walk alongside clients on their journey toward personal growth and achieving their unique goals.

Prior to beginning as a student intern counsellor at Three Story Clinic, Nick has gained extensive experience working with youth and young adults in various settings, including drop in counselling services at the Foundry in North Vancouver, community outreach with the North Shore Neighbourhood House, crisis intervention at the BC Crisis Centre, and medium and long term onsite treatment with youth at the Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre.

FOCUS

Nick is especially passionate about supporting children, youth, and their families using a client centered, trauma informed, and attachment focused lens. He uses evidence based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to help clients achieve their goals.
