EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Lexie is a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at the University of British Columbia, currently completing her practicum at Three Story Clinic. She has experience in supporting individuals and families through complex challenges, including mental health concerns, addictions, and navigating societal barriers.

Lexie has extensive experience supporting children, and families through complex and often challenging circumstances. Lexie has a strong skill set in crisis intervention, including assessing the safety and well-being of children and families, and providing support during times of stress. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing, ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Families, equipping her with the skills to respond effectively to a wide range of challenges. Lexie’s background has equipped her with a deep understanding of systemic issues, as well as the ability to build trust and foster resilience in the individuals and families she supports.

Lexie is passionate about supporting individuals through a Trauma-Informed and Anti-Oppressive lens. She supports individuals and families in navigating complex and challenging circumstances. She works within a strength-based approach and is dedicated to creating a safe, and non-judgemental space that empowers clients to work towards their goals, lean into their strengths, and strengthen their resilience
