Approach

Jenna’s approach to counselling is flexible and tailored to each client’s needs, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies and practical strategies. She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, and trauma-informed practice to help clients develop a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. Sessions may incorporate psychoeducation, skill-building, collaborative problem-solving, and strengths-based exploration, with a focus on building practical tools that can be applied beyond the counselling space. Jenna recognizes that meaningful change can take time and that different approaches work for different people. She therefore works collaboratively with clients to identify goals, explore what is most helpful, and adapt the therapeutic process as their needs evolve. Her aim is to make counselling practical, accessible, and meaningful.
