Dr. Greenaway is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and the founder and director of Three Story Clinic.
For more than 20 years, her clinical work has centered on children, adolescents and their families. She has particular expertise in understanding young people’s difficulties in the context of their development, relationships and family life, and in helping families make sense of what is happening when things have become complicated.
Dr. Greenaway works with a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, ADHD, mood and emotional regulation difficulties, eating disorders, self-harm, substance use and complex presentations where the diagnosis or way forward is not immediately clear.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Greenaway has been extensively involved in medical education. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia and has taught and supervised medical students and psychiatry residents for many years. She has also served in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education leadership and committee roles at UBC.
She founded Three Story Clinic to create a place where children, adolescents and young adults could receive thoughtful, evidence-based care while being understood as more than a diagnosis. She continues to provide clinical leadership to the clinic and consultation to its multidisciplinary team.

It is our job as mental health professionals to connect you to that inner strength and give you the necessary tools to draw on it in a healthy and constructive way.

Approach
She is the past Medical Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at BC Children’s Hospital and the past Undergraduate Medical Director of Child Psychiatry (UBC). Dr. Greenaway holds an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC in the Department of Medicine while maintaining an active presence at BC Children’s Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Greenaway also sits on the board of the Adam’s Apples Foundation.
