Approach

Laura believes that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. She strives to be her authentic self – while remaining professional – and empower clients to do the same. Laura loves to learn new therapeutic strategies and tailors her approach to her clients’ needs. Laura takes a relational and trauma-informed approach to counselling. She believes that we are social beings and societal, cultural and family dynamics often get in the way of one’s full potential. She helps clients understand why they struggle in particular areas and find tools to heal. Laura mostly serves Gen Z and also enjoys supporting parents.
