EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Sandra is a registered clinical counsellor and approved clinical supervisor. She has worked in the mental health field for more than 16 years in both school and clinical settings providing child, youth, and familiy counselling. Her expertise lies in supporting individuals and families who struggle with a variety of mental health issues, ADHD, learning difference, anxiety and parenting or teen relationships. She also provides educational counselling to families through practical understanding of learning differences, assisting in deciphering psychoeducational assessments, and facilitate or supporting communication with schools.group clinics, and public health programs. She has expertise in supporting older youth and young adults with trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions and self-esteem.

Approach

Sandra will assist clients in gaining insight into the reasons behind their challenges, empowering them to learn tools for their healing and growth. Drawing on her extensive experience within the educational system, she is particularly skilled in assisting families in navigating learning and school-related issues and accessing necessary support services.

Fees

$170 per 50 minute session for individuals
$200 per 50 minute session for couples/family

Payment in the form of cash or email transfer is due at the end of each session unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that 2 business days notice is required to cancel a scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full session fee. Some third party payment plans such as Extended Health Care Insurance and Employee/Family Assistance Programs pay partial or total coverage for counselling services. Please follow up with your benefits plan/health care provider.
