Approach

Tina is guided by her personal philosophy that therapy should be both supportive and energizing, and that it should inspire individuals to take control of their lives and shape their own narratives. With a resourceful, caring, candid, and humorous demeanour, Tina prioritizes establishing a strong connection with her clients.  That sense of connection is everything to Tina, and the most important step on their way to better mental health. “If they can connect with me, they can work with me.” She places particular emphasis on working collaboratively with families, working closely with parents and caregivers to gain a deep understanding of their child or youth’s challenging behaviours. By offering parent support, coaching, and parenting training, Tina ensures that her interventions address the needs of the entire family unit, fostering a harmonious environment for growth and well-being. Through her comprehensive approach, Tina strives to inspire individuals and families to overcome challenges, discover strengths, and create positive transformations in their lives.
