EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Tahlia Reinders is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master of Counselling degree and a background in Kinesiology, providing her with a holistic understanding of the connection between physical and mental well-being. She has extensive experience supporting children, youth, and families navigating emotional, behavioural, relational, and mental health challenges. Tahlia’s clinical work focuses on helping children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, grief and loss, family conflict, and major life transitions. She also has a particular interest in supporting children and families affected by chronic illness, medical complexity, and significant health-related challenges. Tahlia is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each individual’s unique strengths, developmental needs, and goals for growth and healing.

FOCUS

Tahlia’s practice focuses on supporting individuals who are navigating emotional, behavioural, relational, and health-related challenges. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, grief and loss, and difficulties related to family relationships or major life transitions. Tahlia has a particular passion for helping children and families cope with parental separation or divorce, chronic illness, medical complexity, and the impact of serious health concerns. She strives to help clients better understand their emotions, strengthen coping skills, build resilience, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.
